New Earth Object Research

New Earth Object Research is an ongoing investigation into the material world of ‘tomorrow’. Scientific research is articulated in tactile and visual form transporting us into territories of the uncharted and unfamiliar.

What questions do these materials pose? How far in the future are these objects from? What role do ‘humans’ play in the crafting of these objects? Do they represent a desirable or disagreeable future? Would you describe them as ‘nature’ or ‘natural’ or ‘neither’? Are they made in a petri dish or excavated from the earth? This display was exhibited as part of TEDxRoyal Society.
