TRANSCENDENT SENSATION

DSC_7104.jpg
If we could ‘sense’ the future planet, would it impact our current behaviour now? Inspired by the ‘overview effect’, explore speculative topographies, future Astronaut visions and an aromatic transmission from the far reaches of tomorrow’s atmosphere. Experience a strange, and conflicting sense of the sublime as blue planet geology metamorphs into a techno-cultural construct. These light boxes and accompanying scented object were exhibited as part of Cosmic Perspectives , an exhibition I co-produced with LUMEN Studios and fellow artist Hannah Pratt. Read all about it on these blogs: http://cosmicperspectives.myblog.arts.ac.uk/ Thanks to John Hooper Photography for his incredible images!
