Event: EARTHSHAPES #7 Re-Storying - Thu 29 Sept

For our penultimate EARTHSHAPES journey through the seasons we gather around the fire in the urban woodlands of Phytology to brew up new stories for changing times. As we reach the Autumn Equinox, half light, half dark themes of both harvest and decay emerge - what do we want to carry with us and what needs renewing? “Re-storying” is our guiding verb, a complex little made-up word all at once invoking repair, returning, renewing, regenerating and re-narrativising. Our mascot for this work is of course…the mushroom! We are joined once again by artist-researcher-chef Barney Pau to fill up on fungi-fuelled potions as we contemplate moonlight magic, recomposing ourselves and co-flourishing in ruinous times. Join us as the leaves turn Thursday 29 September 6pm-7.30pm.
