Resource: Barnet Directory, opportunities and events in the London Borough of Barnet

As part of my role as a volunteer ranger for London National Park City I am proud to present the Barnet Directory - an Instagram-based directory (soon to be webpage) of volunteer-led grassroots collectives and community groups seeking to restore local ecology; resource communities and connect people with their neighbourhoods through nature. Did you know... nearly 1/3 of the London Borough of Barnet sits on the Green Belt which means it boasts incredible green and blue spaces from mulchy ancient woodlands to charming farming fields, generous open spaces and the gentle Dollis Brook? Follow to find out about opportunities to get involved in community-led projects or bookmark to stay tuned into walks and events you can attend to discover an incredible new part of London (find us on the Northern Line!) The initiation of this project was made possible through generous support and funding from community-design charity The Glass House in collaboration with Open University. A few things coming up...
