Scribble and Scrap Workshop - Sunday 16 November - 10-11, 11.30-12.30 Orleans House, Twickenham.
I’m doing something highly unusual and running a workshop for kiddos! As part of my exhibition The Wetness of an Encounter at Orleans House Twickenham, I’m running a creative session for 4-11-year-olds inspiring children to engage and commune with nature through different forms of multi-sensory drawing. Taking place inside, the workshop is designed to equip parents and carers with ideas to help kids connect with nature even in the dark and dreary months!
The Wetness of an Encounter is coming to a close Saturday 22nd November after nearly two months. In the exhibition I share sculptural paper drawings and moving images in response to the inquiry - how can we generate forms of nature documentation that are more tactile and sense-able? If you are able to make it along - don’t miss multi-award winning artist Libby Heaney’s Shadowscapes exhibition drawing connections between JMW Turner, quantum physics and the self!
