Tue 10 March 2026 10.30-12.30 Harlesden to North Circular Aqueduct
The watery offerings continue!
I am hosting a trilogy of experimental art walk-shops bringing us into closer contact with the waterways of North West London in collaboration with the Canal & River Trust.
Guided by themes of {tend}ing, {tender}ness, at{ten}ding we will draw on the rituals and ceremonies associated with our historic relationships to canals, rivers, reservoirs through art-making, walking and thinking together.
Our first session takes us from Harlesden to Stonebridge Park, a noisy and graffitied stretch of the canal in the heart of North West London’s industrial district where the smell of incense and baking biscuits linger in the air!
This event forms part of my wider research for a PhD chapter entitled “Coming into Contact with a River you Cannot Touch”.
