Experience an enchanting evening of surrealist sound and light installation by Basstone Regeneration; multi-genre atmospheric and meditative dub DJ sets by Linett Kamala and Omi and dynamic performances as part of Earth Night. In between the bathing light and beats, I'll be sharing “Coming into contact with a river you cannot touch”, an interlude and experimental sensory performance lecture where we attempt to reach out and make contact with the polluted and enclosed waters of England.
This event forms part of a week-long, 50 event-strong programme from the University of the Arts London in commemoration and celebration of Earth Week. It's curated by the force that is Lin Kam Art and the AoCA, a collaborative community supporting graduates of colour in the creative industries. It's also part of DJs4 Climate Action where DJs, venues and promoters unite for the planet!
