Residency: Perivale Artist-In-Residence June-Sept

I am honoured to be the next Perivale Artist in Residence! From now until September I’ll have even more excuse to hang out in one of my favourite places in London. I’ll be based at the one-of-a-kind Perivale Hive and Library which edges-nestles-neighbours Perivale Wood, Horsenden Hill and Farm, The River Brent, Paradise Fields - some of my favourite places to escape, wander, think. Building on my Urban Tree Festival walk (Soft) Edgelands and thinking about Perivale as a peri-urban ecology I’ll be thinking about the Library as an extension of its wider environments, part of a broader ecological body that leaks, seeps and otherwise becomes a portal into other places through interventions in and around this space…

Huge thank you to Pati and the team at Perivale Hive for the warm invitation and gratitude to Ealing Council who are supporting the PAiR residency through the community small grants programme. More to come soon!
